"By the scent of its maquis, from far away with my eyes closed,
I would recognize Corsica."
— NAPOLEON BONAPARTE
A free museum, at the heart of our laboratory.
Step through the doors of our shop and enter another world. An interactive journey that tells you all there is to know about the golden flower of the Mediterranean. From harvesting to still, from molecule to bottle.
THE ROUTE
Four steps
1
KNOWLEDGE FROM YESTERYEAR
Traditional use
Old-fashioned stills, peasant customs, the history of the everlasting flower in Corsican remedies before the industrial era.
2
FROM FIELD TO FLOWER
Growing helichrysum
From planting to harvesting. Why here, why in June, why by hand.
3
IN THE LAB
The Art of Distillation
Visit our distillery. The distiller is like an orchestra conductor who must tame the plant to extract the maximum from it.
4
IN COLLABORATION WITH L'OCCITANE
Secrets of the Immortelle
Chromatography, Italidione, comparison of essential oils from around the world. An interactive wall allows visitors to follow each step of the distillation process.

IN THE REGION
Are you in Corsica this summer?
The museum is on the east coast, halfway between Bastia and Porto-Vecchio. You can combine it with a visit to the Diana lagoon, Marana beach, or the citadel of Aleria 15 km away. Allow 30 minutes at the museum, plus time to browse the shop.
